"Nox/Nyx: Goddess of the Night"

Inspired by the enchanting darkness of Nyx, the Goddess of Night in ancient Greek mythology, and the starry depths of the universe, I am trying to reflect this in my oil collage work. I hope I can create the desired effect. In the painting, you can see the figure of Nyx gracefully enveloping the darkness of the night. The stars and galaxies surrounding her symbolize the infinity and mystery of the universe. The dance of light and shadow brings together night and day, darkness and light.

This painting is an homage to Nyx, one of the most mysterious and impressive figures of ancient Greek mythology, the Goddess of the Night. Nyx, born from chaos, illuminated the depths of darkness with her own presence. Her mysterious and powerful existence reveals the enchanting nature of the night and the universe. The grandeur and mystery of the infinite universe are hidden in every star and planet. With this work, I aim to invite the viewer into her magical world and to reveal the mysterious, eerie, yet serene nature of the night...

The Reflection of Music and Emotion on Canvas

Müslüm Gürses is one of the most listened-to artists in Turkey. He is known for his humility and modesty. In this oil painting, I tried not only to portray an artist but also to capture an emotion, a soul. I wanted Müslüm Gürses’ sincerity on stage, his passion for music, and the depth in his expression to come to life on this canvas.

The contrast between black and white is a reflection of my desire to evoke the bittersweet aspects of life—grief and hope—just as he did in his music.

This work is still unfinished, much like the feeling a song leaves before reaching its final note, continuing to tell its own story. I hope I can complete this piece, where art and music intertwine, very soon…
